ADEYANJU LAW, PLLC

PRIVACY POLICY

Effective Date: September 2, 2026

Adeyanju Law, PLLC ("Adeyanju Law," the "Firm," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you visit adeyanjulawfirm.com, submit an inquiry, schedule or attend a consultation, make a payment, use a client portal, call the Firm, or otherwise interact with our online and communications services (collectively, the "Services").

This Policy addresses privacy practices associated with the Services. It does not replace the Firm's separate legal, ethical, professional, or confidentiality obligations after an attorney-client relationship has been established.

1. Personal Information We May Collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following categories of information:

Information you provide. Your name, email address, telephone number, mailing address, country of residence or citizenship, preferred language, consultation preferences, the legal service requested, information about your immigration or nationality matter, documents or messages you choose to provide, and other information submitted through an inquiry, scheduling page, consultation, payment page, client portal, telephone call, email, or other communication.

Transaction and matter information. Appointment details, payment status and transaction identifiers, engagement and matter records, communications, and information needed to provide legal services. Full payment-card information is submitted to and processed by our payment processor; the Firm does not ask you to place full card information in the general website contact form.

Telephone and communications information. Caller identification, call date and time, voicemail, messages, and the content of communications. The Firm's communications providers may use automated-receptionist, transcription, or summarization features to route and document communications. Any call recording will be subject to any notice or consent required by applicable law.

Information collected automatically. Browser and device type, operating system, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, referring and exit pages, pages viewed, links clicked, searches, scrolling or other site interactions, and visit dates and times. Squarespace and other providers may collect this information through cookies, logs, analytics, and similar technologies.

Information from third parties. We may receive information from scheduling, payment, practice-management, portal, email, communications, website, translation, security, analytics, referral, or other service providers when you use or interact with those services.

2. Sensitive Information

Immigration matters can involve sensitive personal information, including government identifiers, passport or visa information, immigration history, employment, education, finances, family relationships, health or disability information, race or ethnicity, national origin, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, and information about children. We process such information when reasonably necessary to evaluate or handle a matter, comply with law or professional obligations, or as otherwise authorized by you. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics for advertising. Do not submit confidential documents, Social Security numbers, passport numbers, financial-account information, or other highly sensitive information through the general website contact form. Use a secure method designated by the Firm, such as the client portal, when requested.

3. Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies

The website is hosted by Squarespace and uses cookies and similar technologies required to serve and secure the site. Squarespace analytics or other permitted analytics and performance technologies may collect information about traffic and site usage. Third-party features, embedded tools, and linked services may also use their own cookies or similar technologies.

Where available, you may use the website's cookie controls to manage non-essential technologies. You may also manage cookies through your browser settings. Restricting cookies may affect website functionality. Browser-based controls do not necessarily affect information previously collected or technologies operated directly by third parties.

4. How We Use Personal Information

We may use personal information to: respond to inquiries; conduct conflict checks and assess whether a matter is within the Firm's scope; schedule, prepare for, and administer consultations; communicate with prospective and current clients; process payments; create and manage client and matter records; provide legal services after engagement; operate the website, client portal, email, telephone, and related systems; personalize or translate website content; understand website use; maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Services; prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; protect legal rights; maintain business and professional records; and comply with applicable legal, ethical, regulatory, tax, insurance, and professional obligations.

5. Prospective Clients and Attorney-Client Relationship

Submitting information, contacting the Firm, scheduling or paying for a consultation, or using the website does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship is formed only through a written engagement agreement accepted by the Firm. Until then, do not assume the Firm represents you or that information sent through a general or unsecured channel will be treated as privileged. Nothing in this Policy waives any privilege, duty of confidentiality, or other protection that applies after an attorney-client relationship is established.

6. How We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances:

Service providers. To vendors that support website hosting, security, analytics, translation, email, cloud storage, communications, automated receptionist or transcription functions, scheduling, video meetings, payment processing, practice management, client portals, document preparation, information technology, bookkeeping, insurance, and other Firm operations.

Professional and matter-related recipients. After authorization or when otherwise appropriate, to co-counsel, local counsel, experts, translators, interpreters, government agencies, courts, vendors, opposing parties, or other persons involved in evaluating or providing requested legal services.

Legal, ethical, and protective purposes. When required or permitted by law, subpoena, court order, legal process, professional obligation, or applicable ethics rules; to investigate or address fraud, misuse, security threats, or violations; or to protect the rights, safety, security, or property of the Firm, clients, or others.

Business changes. In connection with a reorganization, merger, transfer, or other change involving all or part of the Firm, subject to applicable professional duties and safeguards.

The Firm does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. The Firm does not use personal information collected through the Services for targeted advertising.

7. Third-Party Platforms and Providers

Depending on the feature used, our providers may include Squarespace (website hosting, forms, and analytics), Cloudflare (domain and security services), Google Workspace, Google Calendar, and Google Meet (email, scheduling, and meetings), Docketwise (immigration practice management and client portal), LawPay (payment processing), and telephone, automated receptionist, translation, social-media, and other operational providers. A link or integration may direct you to a third-party service governed by that provider's own privacy policy and terms. The Firm does not control third parties' independent privacy or security practices.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information within our control. However, no website, electronic communication, transmission method, or storage system is completely secure. You should use care when sending information electronically and use secure channels designated by the Firm for sensitive documents.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to respond to inquiries, perform conflict checks, provide services, maintain client and business records, satisfy legal and professional obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, preserve evidence, and protect legal rights. Retention periods vary according to the information, relationship, purpose, and applicable requirements. Service providers may retain information under their own policies and our agreements with them.

10. Privacy Choices and Requests

You may contact us to ask about, access, correct, or request deletion of personal information you previously provided. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent or object to certain processing. These rights may be limited, and we may retain or continue to process information when reasonably necessary or permitted for legal, ethical, professional, security, conflict-checking, recordkeeping, or other legitimate purposes.

Where applicable law provides additional rights - such as portability, restriction, an appeal, or the right to opt out of a covered sale, targeted advertising, or certain profiling - we will honor verified requests as required. Because we do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, there is no corresponding opt-out required for those activities. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity and authority before acting on a request. You may use an authorized agent where applicable law permits. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

To stop receiving non-essential promotional email, use any unsubscribe mechanism provided or contact us. Transactional, legal, and service-related communications may continue where appropriate.

11. Children and Minors

The website is not directed to children, and the Firm does not knowingly seek personal information directly from children through the general website without appropriate involvement of a parent, legal guardian, or other authorized person. Information about a minor that is relevant to an immigration matter should be provided by an authorized adult through a method designated by the Firm.

12. International Visitors and Cross-Border Processing

The Firm provides U.S. federal immigration and nationality law services to clients in the United States and internationally. If you access the Services or provide information from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, processed in, and stored in the United States and other jurisdictions where the Firm or its providers operate. Those jurisdictions may have privacy laws different from those in your location. Where required, we use legally recognized grounds or safeguards for cross-border processing.

13. External Links, Social Media, and Translated Content

The website may link to client portals, scheduling and payment pages, government resources, social-media pages, and other third-party sites. Visiting those services may allow the third party to collect information under its own policies. Automated translation tools may process website content and related technical information. If translated content differs from the English version, the Firm's English-language content controls.

14. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Signals

Some browsers provide Do Not Track or other privacy-preference signals. Because standards and legal requirements vary, the website may not respond to every signal in a uniform manner. We will recognize legally required browser-based opt-out signals to the extent applicable to the Firm's processing. As stated above, the Firm does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology, services, or legal requirements. The revised Policy will be posted on the website with an updated effective date. Material changes may also be communicated by another appropriate method.
